Consider dining at local cafes for a more varied and flavorful breakfast instead of the hotel options.

A good hotel. It was hot and the pool out back was a welcome sight!
Tthe shower head couldn't be hung up as the hook was broken. Personally I hate hand showers.

The swimming pool offers a beautiful view of the surrounding gardens, making it a great spot to relax after a day of exploring.
Breakfast options were quite limited. We encountered missing items that were not replenished, and the tables outside weren't cleaned throughout our meal.

It's nice hotel right in the centre of Mystras village, ideal to visit the site in the early morning and to avoid the anonymous town of Sparti

We have been staying at Vyzantion as a romantic couple, as a family with young children in their special "extended" room, and as a couple with older children and their friends. We love its wonderful atmosphere, its location close to the ruins and to the start of some great hiking trailheads, and its sweet, breezy breakfast room with the amazing orange marmalade, home made by one of the owners. We have also come to know and like the owners and staff very much. They are some of the most polite, elegant and friendly hotel owners we know (internationally!). They make you feel at home but are always exceedingly discreet and sweet. Byzantion is more than just a hotel for us, it is one of our best family memories.

Good value, clean, welcoming, family run hotel. Good views. Well situated for visit to archaeological site. Comfortable and plain rather than luxurious but well equipped with lift, internet access and air conditioning. Would stay again and reccommend to anyone.

Cleanliness could be better, particularly with bathroom ventilation!!! Air conditioning struggles to keep rooms cool during the heat!!! Poor pool maintenance detracts from the intended relaxing experience!!!

Excellent, beautiful location on where to exit major highway near Athens for Airport. Not far from the bars, the center of Mistras with private parking and near a variety of eateries and the town centre and restaurants

The location in Mystras is a huge plus, right across from local tavernas and close to the ancient sites. My room had fine views of the ruins. I appreciated the spacious Triple Room. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The swimming pool was a nice area to unwind, surrounded by beautiful gardens. The pool could use better maintenance, as it didn't feel very clean. Breakfast was disappointing. Limited options with items not getting replenished. Some areas outside were also poorly cleaned, which detracted from the overall charm.

This is a typical small Greek hotel. Very simple furnishings but clean and comfortable. Staff very welcoming and a good breakfast included. Very convenient for the Mistras ruins which I could see from my balcony. Great value.
